The Phoenix Curriculum

The heart of the BDCHS educational program is its unique curricular design and implementation, which promotes the individual learning styles and instructional needs while building strong cooperative practices.  Students are immersed in an educational atmosphere that fosters positve peer interactions, individual accountability, strong research and writing skills, effective oral and print commuication methods, ethical se of technology, and college and career-oriented skills for life-long personal and academic success.

Students are encouraged to participate in a variety of course options, including Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment options (if students meet dual enrollment criteria).  Click here for information about the Dual Enrollment program.

Please click the hyperlinks located under the "Course Decriptions" menu to investigate each of the course offerings within the specific content areas.  All courses that receive honors weight are denoted with "honors" in the course title; Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment courses receive additional weight beyond the honors designation.
